Sculptural Oak " Pot Belly" carved vessel

This is a hand crafted sculptural wooden vessel. Turned on the lathe using unseasoned Maine Red Oak then carved. The artist of this piece embraces the cracks and natural fissures and sees them much like humans, the imperfections making the piece uniquely stunning.
