Chard Oak Hollow Form

This piece was a true labor of love.  The artist turned the vessel walls so thin that a internal light source is allowed to shine through, making the piece semi-translucent.  It was crafted from Maine Red Oak, turned on the lathe, then lightly fired to reveal the warm tones of the Red Oak.
