Thank you all so much for your encouragement and support as we work to launch Hyde & Burl. Though it’s taking longer than we’d like to get the whole site up and running, we’re thrilled with your early interest in our Woodland Trees Collection. The mini trees will officially be our first product launch and, because they will be offered for a limited time and in limited amounts, it’s a nice way for us to slowly dip our toes in and see how it feels to expand our market from select friends and family to a wider (but still beloved) audience.
We’ve opened pre-orders for a limited time - until November 15 - and offered a 15% discount for all orders placed before the cut off. (You’ll see the discount at checkout)
The plan is to ship all orders on Small Business Saturday, November 25 and to spend the time between now and then making however many trees we can before we run out of wood and/or time.
Although we will no doubt display our growing mini forest year-round, the Woodland Trees Collection is likely to be a seasonal offering with limited trees released each year at around this time. Each tree made as part of this year’s collection will be sequentially numbered and have the year inscribed on the bottom. We love the idea of folks starting a tradition of collecting one or more trees each year and adding to an individual or family collection.
